In
ContactsLaw, an
individual is a
contact who represents a natural person; whether living or deceased and regardless of profession.
The only exception to this rule is for individuals who operate as sole traders and whose name is therefore registered as a business; in this situation, ContactsLaw regards that contact as an
entity.
ContactsLaw stores the following individual-specific information:
- Date of birth
- Date of death (for deceased individuals)
- Industry
- Position (job title)
- Gender
- Associated (parent) entity
- Spouse
- Identification
An individual's name is stored in components; the title, first name, middles names, last name and postnominal suffix. This allows the document-building features of ContactsLaw to format individual's names in a variety of styles. You can also store an alias, nickname or former name for the contact.
