The workgroup summary displays an overview of the information held for a workgroup in ContactsLaw, with links to manage each individual area. The summary is divided into the following sections:
  • Workgroup - Displays the department in which the workgroup is classified, as well as the workgroup manager, product code prefix and a count of the active/archived files for the workgroup.
  • Policies - Summaries the type of files contained within the workgroup (client or admin), as well as the policies regarding billing. These affect the defaults at the file level.
  • Process models - Lists the process templates associated with the workgroup.
  • Cost estimate templates - Lists the cost estimate templates associated with the workgroup.
  • Description building - Manages the expressions used to build the matter and action descriptions for files in the workgroup.
  • Members - Manages the roles for additional members on the file.
  • Court - Manages the default court contact and judiciary roles on the file.
  • Parties - Manages the party (client and other) roles on the file.
  • Distribution list - Manages the roles and contacts on the distribution list for files in the workgroup.
  • Fields - Displays a list of the fields defined on the workgroup.
