In ContactsLaw, you can overlay the contents of a document onto stationery when converting to PDF.
This feature can be used to simulate the effect of pre-printed letterheads, bank cheques, etc when the document is sent electronically instead of printed. It can also be used to combine complex stylistic elements with a conventional ContactsLaw template.
Stationery:
- Is uploaded to ContactsLaw, typically on an admin file
- Must be a PDF
- Has the same number of pages as the overlaid document*
- Has the same page size, orientation and margins as the overlaid document
- Is only applied during PDF conversion and cannot be previewed
* If the stationery has fewer pages than the document, the corresponding pages of the document will be used as-is. If the stationery has more pages than the document, the extra pages will not be included. To explicitly include them, add page break(s) to the document.
Stationery is added as a related document. Stationery specified in a document template will be automatically added to any documents created from it.
