ContactsLaw captures a range of
CRM information, including the
industry groups that
contacts belong to. During creation (or subsequently), contacts can be associated with one of a predetermined list of industries. You can use this information to build
contact lists based on profession, track the value of business, conversions and much more.
The list of industries is static, representing major industry groups as recognised by the Australian Tax Office, Bureau of Statistics, etc. To capture specific types of business within an industry group, use
contact tags.
Adding an
entity contact to an industry group will cause all related
individuals to be associated with the industry also (except those which already have an industry).
On a
per-company basis, it is possible to mandate the capture of an industry for every new
client or
prospect. (Note: If this option is enabled, the user can still select 'unknown' from the list)
