In
ContactsLaw, the
call monitor is a front-end to the
telephone integration features. It reports the status of the telephone extension that the computer is tied-to, and allows basic line/call control functions to be performed using the software (instead of operating the telephone handset).
The layout of the monitor changes dynamically depending on whether there is an active call, and whether the call is incoming or outgoing.
The call monitor also provides access to the
call log and a line monitor (which polls other ContactsLaw users on the network to determine who is currently in a call).
